Clio is the world’s popular legal practice management software. They enlisted Intrepid’s CRO department to assist with improving the CTR of their social media advertising for lead generation on Facebook.

Challenge

Clio wanted to increase click through rate of their Facebook advertising campaigns, which had underperformed and were in need of a fresh creative approach that resonated more strongly with their audience.

Strategy

Improve Clio’s ad creative performance by taking chances with daring creative concepts that use emotional appeal to convey powerful benefits and break through the clutter of the audience’s Facebook newsfeed.

Hypothesis

We hypothesized that humanizing the Clio brand and empathizing with prospects via creative concepts with high “stopping power” would boost engagement.

Results

We increased CTR by 139% for MQL campaigns over the course of a year.
